Job summary

OnePay in New York City is offering a Partnerships Internship, a fast-moving fintech role at the intersection of Commercial, Product and Legal. You’ll support diligence, research partners, and help prepare deal materials.

The 8-week, full-time program runs June 21 – August 13, 2027, in our NYC office. You’ll receive mentorship, workshops, and opportunities to network with company leadership as you contribute to real-world partnerships.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree with expected graduation Fall 2027/Spring 2028.
• Majors: Business, Economics, Finance, Marketing or related field.
• Must have completed at least one prior internship or equivalent projects.

Responsibilities

• Support partnerships, market diligence, and deal execution with the Commercial team.
• Research prospective partners and markets; help build strategy and deal materials.

The Role

As a Partnerships Intern at OnePay, you’ll work alongside the Commercial team to support partnerships, market and product diligence, and deal execution to help bring OnePay’s products to life.. You'll sit at the intersection of Commercial, Product, and Legal, and get hands-on exposure to how a fast-moving fintech finds, evaluates, and signs the partners its products depend on.

• Team Integration: You’ll be paired with Commercial team members and work alongside Partnerships, Legal, and Product partners,, sitting in on external diligence calls, internal redline reviews, and supporting strategy work.

• Real-World Projects: You’ll research prospective partners and markets, help build strategy and deal materials for new product categories,, and support outreach and deal execution.

• Skill Building & Career Growth: Throughout the internship, you’ll attend workshops focused on technical skills, resume building, interview prep, and professional development. You’ll also have the chance to engage with company leadership during networking events.

• Mentorship: Receive guidance and feedback from your manager, as well as a dedicated mentor who will help you navigate your internship experience, ensuring continuous learning and growth.

You Bring

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree: You’re a current student expected to graduate in the Fall 2027/Spring of 2028 majoring in Business, Economics, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.

• Prior Experience: You've completed at least one previous internship, or have built substantial personal or academic projects you're excited to talk through.

• Availability: This is a full-time, 8-week program running June 21 - August 13, 2027. You are available to work in our New York City office at least 3-4 days a week throughout the entire program.

• Proactive & Collaborative Attitude: You have an act-like-an-owner mentality, thrive in a fast-moving environment, and enjoy working with others to achieve collective goals.

• Critical Thinking & Problem-Solving Skills: You enjoy tackling complex challenges, analyzing problems, and developing solutions. Clear communication of ideas is one of your strengths.

• Organized & Detail-Oriented: You’re a keen listener with strong organizational skills, capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently.

Program & Application Timeline

• Program runs June 21 - August 13, 2027 (8 weeks, full-time, in our NYC office)

• We review applications and conduct interviews on a rolling basis as they come in

• No offer decisions will be made until the application window closes – all candidates are evaluated together before final decisions go out

• We are targeting a finalized cohort by December 1, 2026

• If there are intern spots still available, we may reopen applications in Spring 2027
