Compass Group USA is seeking a Partnership Tax Manager, Transactions & Planning to lead research and planning within the income tax department. The role focuses on corporate transactions, tax controversy, and compliance, requiring strong tax technical skills and collaboration with multiple business partners.

The role reports to the VP, Income Tax Research and Planning and works across the Tax Team to deliver results while handling integration, audits, and planning initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; Master’s in Accounting or Taxation or JD/LL.M. preferred.
• CPA is required.
• 6+ years corporate tax and accounting experience in a large multi-corporate environment.
• 3+ years of progressively responsible supervisory experience.

Responsabilités

• Perform due diligence, structuring analysis, agreement review, and integration support for mergers and acquisitions and other corporate transactions.
• Serve as partnership tax technical resource for the team on M&A and ongoing compliance and research.
• Lead tax compliance integration for newly acquired entities.
• Research and document solutions related to tax return positions and business inquiries.
• Coordinate and resolve audits; prepare position papers and participate in dispute resolution.
• Contribute to income tax provision process and assess uncertain tax positions.
