Partnership Media Specialist - Contractor

We believe in empowering our clients with the most efficient & impactful ways to engage with their consumers. Code3 brings the same dedication to excellence and success we see across media to our programmatic offering. Combining digital channels under one umbrella allows for faster cross channel knowledge share, efficient campaign management, consistent creative storytelling, and incrementality testing. We do not sit in a silo, but strive to work together across channels to achieve client goals. Partnership Media focuses on our direct buy relationships in Audio (podcasts & streaming), Linear TV, and Digital Out of Home. We work with partners like Spotify, iHeart, SXM, Wondery, ABC, NBC, CBS, etc.

Note: At this time, we are only considering short-term contractors for this opportunity. This is not a full-time position.

Responsibilities:

  • Acts as ultimate point of contact, both internally and externally, for all things Partnership Media (i.e. Direct Buys) on the clients to which you are assigned
  • Develops strategy for direct partnership campaigns and reaches out to appropriate contacts to lead planning and execution of media
  • Always thinking about client strategy and Partnership Media’s place in cross channel digital marketing
  • Work seamlessly with measurement teams to ensure campaign builds, create swaps, flight changes, etc., are correctly executed
  • Experience in Linear TV or Podcast planning is preferred
  • Provide data and insights to in-market teams for campaign wrap-ups and larger reporting deliverables such as QBRs
  • Reach out to current partners for betas and new opportunities
  • Brainstorm new ways to improve overall team performance

Requirements:

  • BA or equivalent
  • 1-3 years experience in one of the following areas
    • Direct Buys - Working with media partners on RFP responses, campaign planning, negotiation, execution, and mid- & post-campaign reporting.
    • Programmatic experience in planning, setup, optimization, and reporting is a plus (platforms like DV360 or The Trade Desk)
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail and timelines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (comfortable speaking with clients)
  • Demonstrated critical thinking ability
  • Proven ability to navigate client and partner communication including negotiating rates, requesting added value, and pushing back on timelines when needed
  • Self-starter who is comfortable with a rapidly-changing environment
