Job description

This role is with our Partners in Performance team, part of Accenture. Partners in Performance, Part of Accenture is a global management consulting firm with a focus on human performance working alongside client partners to make change happen. We've got offices in Australia, New Zealand, South-East Asia, Africa, North and South America and Europe but prefer to spend as little time in them as possible. Instead, we work alongside our clients to unleash their potential and deliver lasting impact that you hardly ever achieve by sitting in a boardroom. The Business Analyst role is an entry level role where you would be immediately exposed to being the frontline change agent for our clients. You are the primary source of reliable data and rock-solid analysis, providing the fact base the improvement team uses to make decisions in real time.

Responsibilities
  • Assisting with the delivery of measurable improvements and in the implementation of processes and systems that will sustain ongoing improvements, especially by supporting prioritization and problem-solving.
  • To work closely with other team members and client team members to collect/analyze data and provide insights.
  • At times, the business analyst may be given the opportunity to take on front-line coaching roles, especially with client analysts, to broaden their management experience.

  • To be successful consultant at Partners in Performance, you not only need to be an outstanding academic performer, but also be dynamic, passionate and prepared to roll up your sleeves and work inside our clients’ businesses.
  • You need to care about people and developing them, as coaching is a big part of our success.
  • This position involves a significant amount of on-site travel.
  • The ideal candidate is comfortable and available to travel 80% as part of the role. This will include US and Canadian travel, as well as other international opportunities.
Basic Qualifications
  • Undergraduate with an expected graduation date of Spring/Summer 2027.
  • Graduation from a top-tier university, with excellent results (distinction average).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Relevant work experience/internships in blue chip consulting or industrial companies is highly valued.
  • Degrees in Engineering, Business Commerce, Environmental Science and more Natural resources industry and/or operations consulting experience.
  • Experience on mining, heavy industry, or construction sites.
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively, with on-site travel comprising approximately 80% of the role.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, including analytics.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, including ability to coach, influence, and build trust with peers and clients.
  • Demonstrated passion for results.
  • Must be fluent in English.
  • Strong communication skills, including ability to respond clearly to hard questions under pressure and to use visual tools when communicating insights.
  • Above average knowledge of PowerPoint and Excel (Power BI advantageous).
