About The Role

We seek a skilled Technical Instructor to deliver instructor-led training (ILT) on Apache Kafka and Confluent products to our Asia Pacific GSI partner ecosystem, focusing on Accenture and TCS in India. As part of our Global Partner Enablement team, you will empower partners to deploy and optimize Kafka-based solutions. The ideal candidate is an expert in Kafka and Confluent tech, an excellent communicator, and passionate about technical excellence and partner education. This role acts as the primary Confluent enablement advocate within TCS and Accenture, supporting their L&D teams to raise awareness and adoption across business groups and regions.

What You Will Do

• Conduct high-quality instructor-led training sessions (virtual and in-person), facilitate hands-on labs, and increase our Asia Pacific GSI talent pool and certifications, especially within Accenture and TCS.
• Deliver technical content on Kafka fundamentals, Confluent Cloud, and Confluent Platform, including real-world applications, advanced configurations, and performance tuning.
• Build strong GSI partner relationships, align training programs with client needs, and develop strategic, results-oriented training plans.
• Gather participant feedback to improve course materials and delivery techniques.
• Collaborate with curriculum developers to keep content current with Kafka and Confluent product updates.
• Stay updated on Kafka, Confluent products, and emerging data streaming trends.
• Document best practices, FAQs, and technical challenges in internal knowledge bases.
• Work with Product, Engineering, and Partner Solutions Architects to ensure training content reflects latest developments.
• Represent Confluent at partner training events, workshops, and conferences across Asia Pacific as needed.

What You Will Bring

• 2-3 years of experience as a technical trainer, sales engineer, or similar technical role.
• Expertise in Apache Kafka and familiarity with Confluent products, including core concepts like producers, consumers, Kafka Streams, and connectors.
• Experience delivering technical training or presentations to diverse audiences.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, real-time data streaming, and event-driven architectures.
• Excellent communication skills to explain complex technical concepts clearly.
• Experience designing and implementing strategic training and enablement plans.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language, preferably Java.
• Knowledge of tools like Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience with virtual classroom tools like Zoom.
• Ability to travel approximately 25% of the time.
• Previous experience with Global System Integrators, especially in India with Accenture and TCS.
• Certification in Confluent or similar technologies.
• Experience in instructional design, adult learning principles, or curriculum development.
