What you will be doing

As a Partner Success Manager within our B2B Team, you will play a critical role in fostering and maintaining strong relationships with our enterprise clients and grow our longtail partnerships. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure client satisfaction, retention, and growth by providing top-tier support and strategic solutions. You will act as a trusted advisor to help our clients successfully meet their needs through our B2B pharmacy and Grocery services thereby driving their success and ours. Additionally, support all Corporate B2B team initiatives as needed.

The position will be based in Pleasanton, CA, Seattle, WA, or one of our main regional offices.

Main responsibilities

  • Establish and manage relationships with new and existing partners through efforts (sales calls, QBRs, networking, while maximizing revenue goals
  • Execute a territorial and vertical strategy to capture the maximum amount of revenue and meet / exceed annual revenue goals
  • Plan, upsell and detail the client needs. Complete the contracts, prepare the appropriate paperwork, coordinate with the appropriate teams in Albertsons and resolve any issues, complaints, and problems to ensure quality product delivery and partner satisfaction
  • Understands competitors’ strengths and weaknesses and knows how to upsell against them
  • Effectively develop relationships within Albertsons and externally within the partner organization to strengthen and expand customer base for b2b team sales opportunities
  • Effectively manage and develop relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
  • Create proposals as required working with business development team members, product, marketing, customer service and national ops teams
  • Due to the nature of the business the individual may be required to do other duties and special projects as assigned by the manager

The salary range is $105,900.00 to $150,000.00 annually. Starting salary will vary based on criteria such as location, experience, and qualifications. There may be flexibility for exceptional candidates. Benefits may include medical, dental, vision, disability and life insurance, sick pay (accrued based on hours worked), PTO / Vacation Pay (accrued based on hours worked) or Flexible Time Off, paid holidays (8-9 days annually), bereavement pay, and retirement benefits (such as 401(k) eligibility). Associates in this position are also eligible for a quarterly bonus.

  • MANAGING WORK EXECUTION : Proactively ensures that there is accountability, authority, and resources necessary to both manage work execution and drive for results. Sales Support : Provide ongoing sales support to partners and B2B team members, including assistance with presentations, proposal development, and customer interactions Collaborate with the business development team to ensure seamless handoff of partners and continuity in partner engagement Assist B2B team members in refining their sales pitches, optimizing their sales funnel, and closing deals more effectively Feedback & Reporting : Collect and report on partner feedback, using it to inform team sales and marketing strategies, and operational processes Provide regular reports to management on partner performance and other key metrics. Present data-driven insights that highlight the impact of sales strategies and recommend adjustments to improve outcomes

We believe the successful candidate has these qualifications and experience :

  • Five or more years of experience in key account management, business development or project / product management preferably within a B2B environment
  • Proven track record of a consistent ability to surpass targets and provide quality service to partners
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities, with a focus on delivering solutions that drive client success
  • Skills needed to influence the stakeholders and variables encountered in the development, implementation and management of B2B partnerships internally and externally
  • Knows how to partner diligently and closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, product management, engineering, and ops to ensure alignment and effective execution of team and partner development initiatives
  • Proficiency in CRM software such as Hubspot and other relevant tools, with the ability to learn new systems quickly
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
  • Knowledge of the healthcare industry, pharmacy or grocery is a plus
  • Strong networking and relationship-building skills
  • Strong verbal and written English communication skills
