Job summary

CDP, a Boston-based public benefit corporation, seeks a Partner Success Data Specialist for a remote, full-time role. You will manage onboarding, data submissions, and client coordination for NRF, NPR Basic Donor Data Matching, CDP Insights, Epiphany, and related services.

You will build relationships with stations, guide timelines and documentation, and ensure a superior client experience across cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in client success, account management, project coordination, fundraising operations, data services, nonprofit technology, public media, or related field.
  • Proven track record of driving projects to completion, proactively following up on commitments, tracking deliverables, and ensuring successful outcomes for clients and stakeholders.
  • Ability to collaborate across teams and build internal/external partnerships.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with CRM platforms, Salesforce, Tableau, data management, or reporting systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to navigate technical and operational conversations with a diverse range of users.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary onboarding contact for public media organizations participating in NRF, NPR’s Basic Donor Data Matching Program, and other CDP data services.
  • Guide organizations through onboarding requirements, timelines, documentation, and implementation steps.
  • Build strong relationships with station staff and provide consultative support throughout the client lifecycle.
  • Establish clear milestones and follow-up processes to ensure successful onboarding and adoption.
  • Maintain accurate records within Salesforce and ensure client information remains current.
  • Coordinate, generate, and track the execution of legal agreements, service orders, and related documentation through established workflows.
  • Support client administration activities related to NRF, NPR’s Basic Donor Data Matching Program, CDP Insights, and Epiphany; manage user access and reporting tools.

CDP, a Boston-based public benefit corporation, uses the collaborative fundraising model to improve the operational efficiency and revenue generation capacity of the public media system. CDP currently provides more than 230 NPR and PBS public media organizations (PMOs) with outsourced marketing, data analytics, fundraising, and technology services. These services help PMOs raise more net income, grow their donor files faster, lower their fundraising costs, and free up development talent allowing stations to better focus on local engagement. Since its inception, CDP has delivered more than $785 million in membership revenue for local PMOs participating in its services and has become the most widely adopted Public Media service in the history of public broadcasting.

The Partner Services team works collaboratively with stations, vendor partners, and internal teams to deliver high-quality fundraising, analytics, and data services to the public media system. Reporting to the Senior Partner Success Manager, the Partner Success Data Specialist will serve as a primary point of contact for stations participating in CDP's data products and services, including the National Reference File (NRF), NPR Basic Donor Data Matching Program, CDP Insights, Epiphany and related offerings.

This is a client-facing role that combines relationship management, onboarding, project coordination, operational administration, and data support. The successful candidate will help organizations successfully adopt and utilize CDP's data products by managing onboarding, facilitating data submissions, resolving issues, coordinating internal resources, and ensuring an exceptional client experience.

The ideal candidate enjoys building relationships, keeping complex projects moving forward, and helping clients navigate processes and requirements. They are highly organized, proactive, and comfortable serving as a liaison between clients, technical teams, and vendor partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary onboarding contact for public media organizations participating in NRF, NPR’s Basic Donor Data Matching Program, and other CDP data services.
  • Guide organizations through onboarding requirements, timelines, documentation, and implementation steps.
  • Build strong relationships with station staff and provide consultative support throughout the client lifecycle.
  • Establish clear milestones and follow-up processes to ensure successful onboarding and adoption.
Administrative & Process Management
  • Maintain accurate records within Salesforce and ensure client information remains current.
  • Coordinate, generate, and track the execution of legal agreements, service orders, and related documentation through established workflows.
  • Support and coordinate related client administration activities related to the NRF, NPR’s Basic Donor Data Matching Program, CDP Insights, and Epiphany. Support ongoing administration of CDP data and analytics products, including user access and reporting tools (Tableau, Salesforce, & other communication platforms.
  • Support organizations with file creation, submission requirements, and onboarding processes.
  • Coordinate setup of user access, file transfer systems, and reporting platforms.
  • Monitor monthly data submissions and proactively follow up with participating organizations.
  • Manage recurring client communications related to submissions, refreshes, and reporting schedules.
  • Serve as the liaison between stations and internal teams to resolve data quality, file submission, and reporting issues.
  • Coordinate troubleshooting efforts with business intelligence, analytics, technology, and vendor partners.
  • Track client inquiries and ensure timely resolution of issues.
  • Identify opportunities to improve onboarding experiences, client communications, and operational workflows
Preferred Experience & Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of experience in client success, account management, project coordination, fundraising operations, data services, nonprofit technology, public media, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of driving projects to completion, proactively following up on commitments, tracking deliverables, and ensuring successful outcomes for clients and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across teams, build strong internal and external partnerships, and bring people together around shared goals and priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to build trust and maintain productive client relationships.
  • Comfortable navigating technical and operational conversations with a diverse range of users.
  • Experience with CRM platforms, Salesforce, Tableau, data management, or reporting systems preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office required.
  • Strong problem-solving and time management skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment while balancing competing priorities.
Educational Requirements
