Google is seeking a Partner Solutions Engineer to support the gUP Shopping Partner Engineering team, focusing on the API ecosystem for Shopping and Universal Commerce Protocol. You will collaborate with Engineering and Product teams to deliver scalable integrations across Sunnyvale, CA; Boulder, CO; San Francisco, CA; Chicago, IL; and more, ensuring high data quality and customer success.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of experience coding with one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, C/C++, Python).
  • Experience troubleshooting technical issues for internal/external partners or customers.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-touch technical guidance, troubleshooting, and documentation to ensure seamless partner integrations within defined SLAs.
  • Gather operational feedback to advocate for product enhancements, bug fixes, and feature improvements with Product and Engineering teams.
  • Work with Product and Partner Operations Managers to define, prioritize, and launch new features and internal tools.
  • Develop technical documentation and developer tools to streamline onboarding, improve product serviceability, and scale operations.
  • Perform implementation reviews and analyze partner data to identify growth opportunities using Google technologies.
