Job summary

Transcend is seeking a Partner, School Design - Assessment to lead pilot, validate, and scale innovative assessment approaches across US schools and districts. You’ll translate psychometric rigor into practical guidance for educators and foster community-driven design that yields genuine ownership.

You will work at the center of the intersection of psychometrics and school design, coordinating with multi-site partners, and traveling as needed to support schools and districts nationwide.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and leading K-12 assessment projects.
• Strong facilitation and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to translate psychometric concepts into practical guidance.

Responsibilities

• Lead project planning, milestones, and budget aligned with goals and context.
• Build and lead a multidisciplinary project team with clear roles and collaboration structures.
• Manage external relationships with school partners, funders, and district leaders.
• Contribute to ongoing learning by sharing field experiences with internal and external audiences.
