Job description

Hotel Trader is looking for a Partner Growth Strategist to own the commercial success of a portfolio of hotel partners and act as a strategic advisor to their revenue and commercial teams. This is a high-impact, cross-functional role that blends consulting, revenue optimization, data analysis, and relationship management — you’ll be the person hotel partners turn to when they need to grow production, sharpen their competitive positioning, and get more out of their distribution strategy.

You’ll manage the full commercial relationship for your portfolio: conducting business reviews, advising on pricing and promotions, spotting risks and opportunities before they become problems, and driving adoption of new products and initiatives that move the needle for your partners. You’ll work closely with Optimization, Operations, Product, Commercial, and Demand teams to remove barriers to growth and make sure partners see measurable results.

What you’ll do:

  • Own the commercial performance and long-term success of a portfolio of hotel partners
  • Serve as the main point of contact for all client concerns and needs
  • Analyze production, market trends, and competitive positioning to identify revenue growth opportunities
  • Evaluate pricing alignment post-launch to ensure successful revenue generation
  • Develop strategic plans to grow hotel production, distribution, and partner engagement
  • Build trusted relationships with hotel executives, revenue managers, and commercial teams
  • Lead regular business reviews with performance insights and actionable recommendations
  • Advise partners on pricing strategy, promotions, inventory optimization, and distribution best practices
  • Monitor performance and proactively flag commercial risks and opportunities
  • Drive adoption of new products, features, and commercial initiatives
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Optimization, Operations, Product, and Commercial teams to solve issues and improve revenue
  • Maintain accurate CRM records
  • Prepare performance reports and commercial insights for Supply senior leadership
  • Represent Hotel Trader at industry events, conferences, and partner meetings
  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve internal processes and partner experience
  • Meet weekly with your team to review progress and share ideas
Requirements

Required:

  • 5+ years of experience in revenue management, strategic partnerships, or distribution roles in hospitality, travel tech, or the OTA space
  • Strong understanding of B2B/B2C hotel distribution, revenue management, pricing strategy, and rate plan setup
  • Experience working with CRS, PMS, channel managers, and hotel technology integrations
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and turn them into commercial recommendations
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills; must be fluent in English
  • Experience managing executive-level partner relationships
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms (Zoho preferred) and the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience managing cross-functional projects and driving initiatives across multiple stakeholders
  • Comfortable leveraging AI and large language models (LLMs) to improve productivity, analysis, and decision-making
  • Highly organized, with strong prioritization and project management skills
  • Self-starter with strong commercial acumen, accountability, and a proactive mindset
  • Ability to travel up to 25% for partner meetings, conferences, and team events
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
  • Based in the United States

Preferred:

  • Prior experience specifically in hotel B2B distribution or wholesale/package travel (vs. adjacent travel-tech roles)
  • Familiarity with rate parity, ARI (availability/rate/inventory) troubleshooting, and disparity resolution
  • Experience with business intelligence/reporting tools (e.g., Power BI)
  • Multilingual, particularly in languages relevant to key hotel markets (e.g., Spanish, French, German)
  • Experience working with independent hotel groups and multi-property management companies
  • Prior public speaking or industry event representation experience
