Chartwell Law seeks a Partner to lead both legal and business functions, guiding attorneys and coordinating operations. You will advise clients, supervise complex cases, and influence strategy based on regulatory understanding.

The role involves hiring, budgeting, compliance, growth, and shaping the firm’s direction. The candidate will manage teams, participate in court proceedings, and drive client service excellence.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Admitted to practice in a state; other states a plus.
• Excellent analytical, research, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• 10+ years’ experience in general liability/insurance defense.
• Experience negotiating and mediating settlements.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients in business transactions and legal rights.
• Independently manage cases from start to finish with supervision of associates and staff.
• Select jurors, argue motions, meet judges, and question witnesses at trial.
• Analyze laws, rulings, and regulations for outcomes.
• Represent clients in court or before agencies and present cases.
