AECOM is seeking a Partner Engineer to join the Reality Labs team, driving the future of the Metaverse. In this highly technical role, you will collaborate with developers and partners, troubleshoot technical issues, and leverage your expertise to foster innovative AR/VR solutions. **Summary:**
Metaverse Partner Engineering is a highly technical team that helps developers grow their business across Reality Labs products and services. This role in Partner Engineering is an opportunity to build the future of the Metaverse by working with strategic partners, including developers, creators, and the world’s most influential companies. The goal for the Reality Labs(RL) Platform team is to accelerate the adoption of Meta’s Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR) products by building and deploying solutions that help scale the Metaverse ecosystem. As a Partner Engineer you will be a part of Meta’s Reality Labs (RL) organization and work closely with engineering teams on product features, developer tools, and 3rd-party integrations. You will have an opportunity to build and manage technical relationships with key partners. You will combine proven experience in technical, product, and business skills to make our partners successful.
**Required Skills:**
Partner Engineer, Metaverse Content Prototyper Responsibilities:
1. Be a creative technologist who identifies differentiation opportunities for Reality Labs
2. building rapid prototypes to test hypothesis and influencing executive stakeholders based on their results
3. Collaborate with external partners, internal Engineering and Product partners within Meta teams. Identify and surface insights using metrics on product usage to increase adoption and provide new solutions that address the needs of our partners
4. Troubleshoot technical issues encountered by our partners in real-time in collaboration with our engineering and product teams. Identify and resolve performance and scalability issues. Work with internal technical teams on resolving those issues
5. Use a broad range of technical and soft skills to build productive relationships with our partners, and independently resolve complex technical and business needs
6. Help scale programs by contributing new features, bug fixes, documentation and other educational materials
7. Mentor and share knowledge with peers, creating a positive atmosphere amongst the team
8. Be a subject matter expert in various parts of the AR/VR infrastructure stack, including all Metaverse products and the underlying frameworks. Utilize this expertise in scoping, designing, and building new solutions
**Minimum Qualifications:**

9. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience
10. 8+ years of professional experience as an engineer and/or in a Game Technical Director role
11. Demonstrated applied knowledge of Typescript, C#, or C++
12. Background working on real-time gameplay mechanics or games systems
13. Experience shipping products requiring stringent runtime performance practices, such as complex mobile or 3D applications or games
14. Experience communicating and collaborating with a varied set of stakeholders
15. Experience demonstrating technical leadership working with teams, owning projects, defining and setting technical direction for projects
16. Track record of driving consensus and building successful cross-functional partnerships

17. Involved in developing immersive VR games or experiences
18. Shipped at least one game using Unity, Unreal, or other leading game engine
19. Knowledge of modern GPU pipelines and 3D rendering architectures

$173,000/year to $247,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
