Overview
The Americas Global Partner Solutions (GPS) team is a sales organization responsible for the commercial partner business at Microsoft. Our mission is to build and sell Microsoft Cloud applications, services, and devices with partners, aiming to empower people and organizations to achieve more. Our field sales team collaborates with partners that provide scale and industry relevance to our customer engagements, servicing and selling to our customers.

We are looking to hire a Partner Development Manager (PDM) to join the Global Partner Solutions - Americas ISV team. In this role, you will engage with the US commercial and regulated industries field sales teams, the Go-To-Market team (GTM), Sell-With team, and technical enablement teams within GPS. You will influence strategic relationships within partnerships to achieve results at the US and Americas level. As a capable seller, you will establish strategy, drive transformation, organizational alignment, and profitability within your focused partners. You will assess new opportunities and develop innovative approaches to translate opportunities into revenue.

As a Partner Development Manager, you will engage with internal stakeholders at Microsoft, including sales support and specialist roles, and collaborate with various Microsoft partnerships across the US and industry. Your goal will be to secure significant business growth, gather insights from customers and partners to improve GTM execution, and activate new offers to market. Responsibilities

As a Partner Development Manager, you will bring your work ethic, enthusiasm, optimism, and passion for customers and partners to foster growth and change within our partner ecosystem. You will leverage your challenger mindset, deep technology and industry knowledge, and interpersonal skills to empower partners to deliver market-defining solutions. This role offers career growth opportunities through collaboration with complex partner organizations and building relationships at the C-Suite level.

Your responsibilities include:

  1. Drive Revenue Growth: Build and maintain trusted relationships with C-suite leaders of complex partners, aligning their strategies with Microsoft's to develop mutually beneficial account plans, track progress, and achieve growth.
  2. Partner Innovation & Transformation: Lead integration of skills and capacity plans, utilizing sales and technical training to enable partners to build impactful Microsoft Services practices that promote cloud consumption and digital transformation.
  3. Market Insight and Business Opportunity: Identify market opportunities aligned with Microsoft's goals, develop go-to-market and co-selling strategies, and support partners with marketing and readiness activities.
  4. Partner Sales and Consumption: Lead pipeline reviews, coach partners on consumption strategies, facilitate collaboration, and develop Partner-to-Partner relationships to expand business.
  5. Advocate for Partner: Promote partner solutions within Microsoft, articulate their value propositions, and orchestrate responses to escalations.
  6. Disciplined Business Management: Drive business reviews, track progress, and provide insights and actions to advance the business, focusing on revenue and scorecard impacts.
