Who You’ll Work With

The Partner Development Leader - Alliances, Workday focuses on growing Slalom’s Workday Partner sales, strengthening our brand, and expanding our network in coordination with our partners' GTM structure. This role involves integrating with global and local teams to unlock channel value and drive partner pipeline in the local market. You will also work closely with the global capability team and directly with the Director, Partner Development.

What You’ll Do
  1. Define and execute global partner-related Workday and GTM strategies.
  2. Serve as the key interface for navigating partner organizations and programs.
  3. Collaborate with the Workday capability team to help define partner strategies.
  4. Maintain a comprehensive relationship map of the partner and foster trusted relationships with key contacts.
  5. Coordinate partner administration tasks such as deal registration and references with Activation Leads & Alliances Operations.
  6. Demonstrate Workday expertise in funding programs, including referral fees and MDF, and manage funding requests.
  7. Facilitate regional/industry Workday partner engagement and marketing strategies (e.g., Workday Rising, Workday Altitude).
  8. Act as the “Voice of the Partner” for Slalom, in partnership with marketing.
  9. Manage potential channel conflicts through excellent communication internally and externally.
  10. Analyze and communicate business trends with managed partners and industry.
  11. Identify new sales channels with partners through programs, lines of business, and relationships.
  12. Coordinate and execute account planning.
  13. Develop strategies and identify channels for strategic partnership efforts.
  14. Create and implement strategies to increase revenue.
What You’ll Bring
  • 6+ years of experience in Workday sales, business development, or consulting services.
  • Understanding of the Workday platform, its capabilities, and offerings.
  • Sales skills and technical knowledge to lead presentations and discussions with customers and partners.
  • Ability to build relationships and work at the executive level within the partner ecosystem.
  • Self-motivation, multi-tasking, independence, and strong project management skills.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
  • Vast knowledge of Slalom's ecosystem, practice areas, competencies, and strategic vision.
  • Strategic thinking, proactivity, and adaptability to uncertainty.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 20%.
  • Preferred locations: West Coast or Central US.

Compensation and Benefits

We also offer a yearly $350 wellness reimbursement and discounts on insurance. The salary range for the Manager role is $104,000 to $181,000; for Sr. Manager, $123,000 to $215,000, plus potential bonuses. Actual compensation depends on skills, experience, location, and other factors.
