The Role In Brief

Partner Development Executives at EAB establish relationships with key decision makers in education institutions. They are persuasive leaders who can listen to partners, understand their problems, and align our services accordingly. This role involves generating leads, managing the sales process, and converting prospects into partners. Successful candidates will have a proven sales record in team environments.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Prospect and build new business within an assigned territory; acquire new partners and negotiate to expand solutions.
  • Build relationships by meeting with leaders, discussing challenges, presenting solutions, and selling EAB’s capabilities to 2-year colleges.
  • Conduct presentations, including evaluations and demonstrations, to educate prospects about our products and services.
  • Meet revenue goals through managing a sales pipeline.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and delivery teams to increase revenue.
  • Maintain knowledge of competitors.
  • Share insights from visits to inform future initiatives and product development.
  • Manage Sales Associate goals, providing feedback and guidance.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution.
  • Proven success in exceeding revenue targets in business development roles.
  • Experience representing complex products/services in a trusted capacity.
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
  • Willingness to travel domestically 25-50%.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Experience in at least three of the following: higher education, client presentations, sales or account management, teaching, or partner management.
Ideal Qualifications
  • 4-10+ years of relevant experience.
  • Experience selling research, technology-driven services, preferably in higher education.
  • Understanding of 2-year colleges’ processes and challenges.
  • Excellent presentation, listening, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and build rapport with executives.
  • Strong organizational, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and fostering an inclusive culture.

Compensation

The starting salary range is $50,000 - $135,000 plus uncapped variable compensation. Total earnings at target are estimated between $100,000 - $235,000 annually, depending on experience, skills, and location.
