This is a high-impact, senior-level role for a strategic professional who can harness their investor network and play a key role in sourcing capital for diverse opportunities across venture, growth, and private equity clients and portfolio companies.

What You’ll Do

As a Partner Expert in Debt Placement, you will be instrumental in expanding our capital network and securing financing across our deal pipeline.

Key Responsibilities:

• Debt Capital Sourcing & Syndication: Leverage your extensive relationships to source debt.Ability to raise equity capital is a plus.
• Debt Placement Expertise: Structure and execute bespoke debt solutions tailored to client and investor needs across a range of sectors.
• Relationship Management: Cultivate and expand a strong investor network, fostering long-term, trust-based relationships.
• Business Development: Collaborate with internal teams and portfolio companies to identify capital needs and tailor financing strategies.
• Deal Structuring & Negotiation: Lead deal negotiations, ensuring alignment of terms and creating win-win outcomes.
• Thought Leadership: Represent Advantary at conferences, webinars, and in published content to position us as a leading voice in the industry.

What You Bring

• Proven success in debt placement and investor relations within venture capital, private equity, investment banking, or a related field.
• A robust network of debt sources.
• Strategic, analytical, and creative thinking paired with a results-driven mindset.
• Outstanding relationship-building, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Strong understanding of capital markets, deal structuring, and fundraising dynamics.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in debt capital and structured finance.
• 7+ years in private equity, venture capital, or investment banking is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field; MBA preferred.
• Equity ownership as a member of our LLC.
• Cash and carried interest in funds with significant upside potential.
• A collaborative, entrepreneurial team with global reach and strong deal flow.
