Job summary

QuantumLight is seeking a Capital Formation Partner to own the fundraising process from sourcing to closing commitments. You will independently generate leads, pitch QuantumLight Fund II to LPs, and close commitments, working to meet weekly KPIs and quarterly targets.

A strong LP network, especially among family offices and UHNWIs, is essential. You will operate in a highly autonomous environment, building relationships with investors and collaborating with the CEO to secure capital for growth

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years end-to-end fundraising experience in VC or PE.
• Proven track record in client-facing fundraising, investor relations, or high-value sales within VC/PE.
• Strong LP network, particularly among family offices and UHNWIs active in VC investments.
• Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
• Entrepreneurial, driven, ambitious, and goal-oriented.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while delivering results under pressure.

Role Overview

As a Capital Formation Partner, you will take full ownership of the fundraising process from sourcing and qualifying leads to pitching and closing commitments. This is a KPI-driven, results-oriented role for a self-starter who thrives in an independent work environment and is confident in managing high-value relationships with investors.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently generate and qualify leads.
• Pitch QuantumLight Fund II to potential limited partners (LPs) and build long-term investor relationships.
• Close LP commitments independently or in collaboration with the CEO.
• Target large family offices and UHNWIs ($500M+ AUM/net worth), as well as institutional investors such as sovereign wealth funds, asset managers, endowments, and foundations.
• Meet weekly KPIs for qualified LP meetings and achieve quarterly capital-raising targets from self-generated leads.
• Maintain and grow a strong network of LPs.

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years’ end-to-end fundraising experience in venture capital (VC) or private equity (PE).
• Proven track record in client-facing fundraising, investor relations, or high-value sales within VC/PE.
• Strong existing LP network, particularly among family offices and UHNWIs active in VC investments.
• Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
• Highly entrepreneurial, driven, ambitious, and goal-oriented.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while delivering results under pressure.
• Strong presentation, negotiation, and closing skills.
