Summary

We are seeking a proficient sales professional who can showcase a track record of accomplishments within a vibrant, swiftly growing company. This person will be a valuable asset to our fast-paced, high growth division concentrating on Partner Sales at Yelp.

The main duty of the Partner Account Executive is to secure new business for Yelp by fostering connections with digital marketing agencies that serve SMBs. These agencies collaborate with Yelp to both resell and purchase Yelp’s Local products.

The perfect candidate for this role will possess the capability to rapidly grasp the business and exhibit the worth of Yelp’s product offerings and partnership program. This role calls for an individual who is exceptionally motivated and enthusiastic, with the skill to cultivate strategic relationships and create fresh business opportunities. The preferred candidate approaches sales in a consultative manner – comprehending agency models and identifying the needs and decision criteria of potential clients. Most importantly, meeting revenue targets will fall under your responsibility.

What you'll do:
  • Foster a collaborative business relationship between Yelp and SMB digital marketing agencies (primarily local) and their advertisers.
  • Hold a Bachelor’s Degree OR 3+ years equivalent experience in Digital Advertising Sales.
  • Craft consultative sales presentations to illustrate how Yelp’s advertising products can be utilized to connect with consumers.
  • Lead training sessions to assist the agency in becoming more adept at building and executing effective campaigns.
  • Consistently surpass quarterly and annual revenue targets assigned by management while contributing to overall team targets.
  • Cultivate and manage partner relationships to ensure surpassing of assigned goals.
  • Identify new agency partnerships which align with Yelp’s partner compliance as needed to meet growth expectations.
  • Chart out agency structure and identify key decision makers, budget owners, and the agencies' decision-making process.
  • Provide accurate weekly forecasts and sales plans.
  • Engage with agencies continually to nurture relationships, validate advertisers' needs, and maintain Yelp’s partnership prominence.
  • Collaborate harmoniously with cross-functional teams to drive revenue growth with new customers.
  • Arrive at work each day with a positive attitude and readiness to succeed.
What it takes to succeed:
  • Have digital advertising experience, including working with or/for a marketing/advertising agency, selling to marketing/advertising agencies.
  • Familiarity with pay per click advertising is a strong preference.
  • Familiarity with Google Local Services Ads (LSA) preferred.
  • Proven achievement in meeting sales goals in a prior role.
  • Experience collaborating with marketers at executive levels.
  • Superb communication and presentation abilities.
  • Adaptable, open to startup environments, and capable of thriving within an ever-changing, swift-paced workplace.
  • Self-motivated, fostering teamwork, and exhibiting a determined commitment to surpassing targets.
  • Skilled in PowerPoint, Excel, and Salesforce.
