Summary

Yelp is seeking a driven, high-energy sales professional to join our fast-growing Partner Sales team. This role is a hunter position focused on identifying, prospecting, and closing new agency partnerships that serve small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs).

As a Partner Account Executive, you will be on the front lines of Yelp’s growth, pitching our advertising solutions to digital marketing agencies. You will build relationships, craft pitches, and demonstrate how Yelp’s platform—including API capabilities—can deliver results for advertisers.

What You'll Do

  • Prospect and pitch new digital marketing agencies aligned with Yelp’s partner program and standards.
  • Manage the full sales cycle—from sourcing to closing new agency partnerships.
  • Deliver data-driven sales presentations showcasing Yelp’s advertising solutions, especially CPC and performance-based products.
  • Explain the value of Yelp’s API integrations to agencies aiming to scale or automate campaigns.
  • Identify decision-makers and influencers within agencies.
  • Exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets.
  • Provide sales forecasts and pipeline updates to leadership.
  • Collaborate with internal teams for seamless onboarding of new partners.
  • Spend about 80% of your time on sales activities and outreach, 20% on account and campaign management.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and best practices.
  • Maintain a positive attitude, growth mindset, and readiness to win.

What It Takes To Succeed

  • 3+ years in digital advertising sales, preferably with marketing / advertising agencies.
  • Proven success in exceeding sales targets in a hunter role.
  • Strong understanding of CPC models and performance media.
  • Familiarity with platforms like Google Ads, Facebook Ads, or LSA is a plus.
  • Experience with API-based solutions in digital marketing or ad tech.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills.
  • Self-starter with ownership and accountability.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and fast-paced environments.
  • Proficient in Salesforce, PowerPoint, Excel, or similar tools.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
