This onsite position is based in Menlo Park, CA, with a salary range of USD 269,000 - 314,000 per year.

The role

In this position, you own and advance critical data infrastructure, systems, and automation that support the firm’s Global Partnerships activities. • Maintain high standards of data precision by monitoring and correcting discrepancies across platforms.
  • Evaluate and implement tools and integrations that improve visibility, connectivity, and decision-making.
  • Identify, pilot, and scale AI tools and agentic workflows to remove manual work, then drive adoption through training, documentation, and change management.
  • Lead automation and operational scale by enhancing processes to improve data accuracy, reliability, and speed.
  • Act as an AI thought partner, staying current on emerging tools and translating them into high-leverage improvements for LP-facing and internal processes.
  • Build visualizations and quantitative analyses supporting fund and investment performance, including projected exit scenarios, liquidity, and follow‑on decisions.
  • Develop fluency with the firm’s portfolio company information database, manipulating and analyzing system data to derive insights.
  • Refine and calibrate portfolio performance analyses to keep them current and relevant.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience; prior data analytics or data engineering experience is preferable but not limited to those areas.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Economics, Finance, Accounting, or a technical field preferred but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail for written prose and for charts, tables, and spreadsheets, with comfort staying on top of changing facts across multiple documents.

  • Demonstrated experience building and maintaining data workflows, automations, or integrations using Python, Javascript or a comparable programming language.
  • Proven ability to lead ambiguous, cross‑functional projects with autonomy and influence across technical and business teams.
