Job summary

Obsidian is seeking a Particle & Nuclear Physics Expert to design graduate-level computational problems using real scientific workflows. You will run simulations, interpret results, and iterate problem sets to reach target difficulty, collaborating with state-of-the-art AI models.

You should have hands-on experience with Particle & Nuclear Physics tooling (scikit-hep and related HEp Python tools), plus strong Python skills and a track record solving real research problems in Linux environments.

Qualifications

  • Graduate-level training in a relevant STEM field (MS, PhD, or equivalent).
  • Strong Python skills and ability to write problem setups, oracle functions, and validators.
  • Hands-on experience with scientific software libraries and real research problems.

Responsibilities
