Arbour Counseling Services, a subsidiary of Universal Health Services, seeks a Full-Time Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) Director in Franklin, MA. The role oversees the PHP program, ensures regulatory compliance, and drives growth.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Social Work or PhD in Psychology from an accredited college or university.
• LICSW or LMHC license required (Massachusetts).
• 3 years post-licensure preferred.
• Five years of psychiatric experience, preferably in a community mental health setting.
• Minimum of 2 years as a clinical supervisor or program manager preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly in writing and speech.
• Ability to handle a varying pace in a fluid clinical setting.

Responsabilités

• Oversee all programmatic and operational aspects of the PHP Program.
• Manage budgetary expectations and coordinate services with multiple disciplines.
• Maintain census levels in the program.
• Market and cultivate relationships with providers, agencies and managed care organizations.
• Coordinate and conduct intakes; negotiate fee agreements if necessary.
• Ensure insurance verification, billing, and co-pay collection are timely.
• Resolve problematic claims with contracted billing company.
• Develop program effectiveness and methods of treatment aligned with current practices.
• Run staff and treatment team meetings; provide group and individual supervision.
• Coordinate clinical information between treatment team and prescriber; ensure treatment planning.
• Handle insurance authorizations and concurrent reviews; ensure medical records quality.
• Coordinate transportation; ensure payroll timesheets are submitted on time.
• Report program statistics to Supervising Director of PHP and COO; support growth.
• Lead public relations and program growth; staff development and recruitment.

About the Role

Arbour Counseling Services is excited to offer a Full Time Partial Hospitalization Director role at our Partial Hospitalization Program in Franklin, MA. The Partial Hospitalization (PHP) Site Director is responsible for the overall quality and fiscal management of the PHP program. The PHP Director continuously assures that clinical services are in full compliance with applicable regulations and payer contract specifications. The PHP Director promotes the development of the program through marketing and by cultivating relationships with other providers, local and state agencies, and managed care organizations. The PHP Director ensures the program is profitable and, at minimum, meets budget.

Our Partial Hospitalization Programs are group-based and short-term for individuals requiring a higher level of care. Our teams work to promote a group that is therapeutic safe, and supportive. Essential Responsibilities

• Oversee all programmatic and operational aspects of the PHP Program
• Manage budgetary expectations and ability to coordinate provision of services with various disciplines
• Maintain agreed upon census levels in the program
• Market and cultivate relationship with other providers, local and state agencies, and managed care organizations
• Coordinate and conduct intakes
• Negotiate fee agreements if necessary
• Assura that insurance verification and billing are completed for each client in a timely manner
• Assure co-payments are collected
• Assist with resolving problem claims with contracted billing company
• Develop program effectiveness and methods of treatment in keep with current practices
• Run the staff and treatment team meetings
• Provide group and individual clinical supervision for staff
• Coordinate clinical information between the treatment team and the prescriber
• Assure that treatment planning is well designed and implemented
• Conduct the insurance authorizations and concurrent reviews with insurance companies
• Manage quality assurance of the program and its medical records in compliance with insurance standards
• Coordinate transportation arrangements for clients
• Assure that payroll timesheets are collected and sent to the payroll department in a timely manner
• Responsible for reporting program statistics to Supervising Director of PHP and COO
• Responsible for public relations and program growth
• Ensure the continual growth of the program through effective selection and development of staff
• Plans and executes work systematically, and with established priorities for greater efficiency as well as efficiently utilizing personnel, equipment and staff to meet cost and quality standards
• Other duties as assigned

• Fosters staff development and growth of team
• Provides regular coaching and feedback to employees to motivate performance
• Completes performance evaluations providing thorough feedback and goals to assigned staff by established deadlines
• Coordinates and provides day-to-day oversight to staff; actively involved in resolving employee matters/issues
• Maintains open communication through regular rounding and on to one meetings with employees
• Ensures staff comply with assigned education requirements in a timely manner (i.e., CIA training, HIPAA training, competencies, etc.)
• Responsible for holding staff accountable with upholding facility policies/procedures and managing the corrective action process when needed
• Actively participates and champions the facility's Service Excellence and Recognition Programs
• Develops team building initiatives to engage staff and build a positive team dynamic
• Actively participates in the recruitment, hiring, and onboarding for all staff within the team

Qualifications
