Job summary

Lancaster Behavioral Health Hospital (LBHH) is a 126-bed inpatient psychiatric hospital formed as a joint venture between Lancaster General Health/Penn Medicine and Universal Health Services. Partial Hospital Therapists conduct psychosocial assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide individual, group and family therapies as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Qualified professionals hold LPC/LSW/LCSW licensure with an MSW or master’s degree and at least two years of partial hospital

Qualifications

• Licensure: LPC, LSW or LCSW required.
• Education: MSW or master’s degree in a recognized mental health field.
• Experience: Two years of partial hospital experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychosocial assessments with patients and families to identify treatment focus.
• Develop and implement treatment plans with realistic goals.
• Provide individual, group, and family therapies using various modalities.
• Document treatment in the medical record promptly and legibly.
• Participate in regular treatment team meetings and coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team.
• Develop individualized aftercare plans for discharge needs.
