Job summary

The Learning Spectrum is seeking an Intervention Specialist to deliver instruction aligned with students’ IEP goals in an on-site setting in Lancaster, Ohio. You will plan personalized lessons, assess progress, and collaborate with families and service providers to ensure consistent support across teams.

You will also maintain documentation for compliance and evaluation while fostering a positive classroom culture that promotes learning, independence, and respectful interactions among students

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in special education or related field from an accredited institution.
• Valid Ohio Intervention Specialist license or Alternative Residential Educators License
• Demonstrated experience developing and implementing IEPs
• Strong collaboration and communication skills with families and school teams
• Dedication to inclusive, student-centered instruction and behavioral support

As an Intervention Specialist at the Learning Spectrum In-District Services (IDS), you will create meaningful learning experiences for students with developmental and learning differences. You'll design instruction aligned with each student's IEP, support their social and academic growth, and collaborate closely with families and multidisciplinary teams.
