Job summary

New England Sports Center in Marlborough, MA, seeks part-time ice resurfacing operators to drive the Zamboni and maintain rink conditions throughout each shift. You will clean the bench and score keeper area, sweep locker rooms, empty trash, and assist with other duties as assigned.

Applicants should have previous Zamboni driving experience or familiarity with ice maintenance, a valid driver’s license, the ability to work nights and weekends, and be able to pass a background check.

Qualifications

• Previous Zamboni Driving experience is preferred.
• Valid Driver License.
• Highschool Diploma.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
• As a condition of employment, qualified applicant will be subject to a background check, including criminal history check, driving history and character references.

Responsibilities

• Resurface ice as scheduled by driving the Zamboni
• Clean bench and score keeper area at the end of the shift
• Sweep Locker rooms and empty trash at the end of each shift
• Perform other functions and activities as directed
