Job summary
The Westfield Area YMCA is seeking part-time Sports Instructors to organize, supervise and instruct youth sports programs. You will help participants learn basic sport-specific skills in line with YMCA character development.
Fall offerings include basketball, football, kickball, soccer, T-ball and more; prior experience with children is a plus and enthusiasm and strong communication are essential.
Qualifications
- Enthusiastic attitude and good communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of various sports such as T-ball, basketball, soccer, track.
- Experience working with children is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Organize, supervise and instruct sports classes.
- Teach basic sport-specific skills aligned with YMCA philosophy and character development.
