Job summary

Soccer Shots is seeking a part-time Youth Soccer Coach to inspire children ages 2–8 in the SF Bay Area. You’ll run sessions, manage setup and breakdown, and help develop character through soccer and positive coaching. Local candidates only.

The role offers a friendly, supportive team, paid training, and opportunities to advance. Expect a flexible schedule that fits 15–25 hours weekly and potential weekend commitments.

Qualifications

• Genuine passion for children and sports.
• Safety conscious.
• Access to reliable transportation.
• Ability to stand, jog, and model children’s soccer skills.
• Must pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Bring “Soccer Island” alive with your enthusiasm and creativity.
• Conduct soccer sessions for children 2 to 8 years old, including field set‑up and take‑down.
• Encourage character development through positive reinforcement and modeling.
• Utilize Soccer Shots curriculum and early childhood development teaching techniques in every session.
• Foster a safe and inclusive environment for all participants.
• Communicate effectively with families, caregivers, and teachers.
