Job summary

Soccer Shots Chattanooga is seeking a passionate part-time soccer coach for children aged 2–8. Sessions are scheduled flexibly, with training provided to learn our curriculum and development-focused coaching methods.

Enjoy a fun, active role that fosters character, confidence, and inclusive play while collaborating with families and schools. Compensation starts at $18 per 30-minute session and rises to $24 per session, with additional opportunities and advancement.

Qualifications

• No prior sports/coaching experience required.
• Genuine passion for children and sports.
• Energetic, engaging and responsible.
• Safety conscious.
• Ability to adapt to the needs of kids ages 2–8.
• Access to reliable transportation.
• Ability to stand, jog, and model children’s soccer skills.
• Coaches must have or obtain state-required clearances.

Responsibilities

• Bring “Soccer Island” alive with enthusiasm.
• Conduct sessions for children 2 to 8 years old, including setup and takedown.
• Encourage character development through positive reinforcement and modeling.
• Utilize Soccer Shots curriculum and early childhood development techniques.
• Foster a safe and inclusive environment for all participants.
• Communicate effectively with families, caregivers, and teachers.
