Job summary

Wabash Center is seeking a Youth Services Direct Support Professional for after-school programs in Lafayette, Indiana. This part-time role supports children and young adults with disabilities in a structured setting, helping them build life skills and social connections.

The position offers paid on-site training, a supportive team environment, and opportunities for professional development. Hours are 2:00 PM–6:00 PM, Monday to Friday, with potential additional hours in other departments.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Support structured games, activities, and learning experiences.
• Encourage social interaction, peer engagement, and teamwork.
• Assist participants in working toward IEP, PCISP, and ISP goals.
• Provide personal care assistance as needed.
• Assist with medication administration and communicate health concerns.
• Provide transportation and supervision during community-based activities.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive, and positive environment.
