Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in education, psychology, communications, marketing, or related field.
• Reliable transportation (mileage reimbursement provided)
• Strong interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills

Responsabilités

• Partner with established Community Advisory Boards to adapt prevention programming for today’s youth and the needs of local communities.
• Update an online train-the-trainer toolkit that helps secondary educators use neuroscience education to support substance use prevention.
• Collaborate with Virginia Cooperative Extension Coordinators to share prevention strategies with partner schools across Virginia.
• Coordinate Brain Day field trips to the Virginia Tech campus, including communication with schools, scheduling, and event logistics.
