Job summary

Eckerd Connects in Pittsburgh Job Corps is seeking a part-time Mental Health Consultant to develop, implement, and monitor the center's mental health program, provide on-call services, and supervise interns and staff.

The role requires licensed professionals (LCPC/LCSW/psychiatric) in PA, experience with disadvantaged youth, and flexibility to meet a 10–15 hour weekly schedule; duties include training, consulting with Health Services, and documenting to meet federal regulations.

Qualifications

• Requires PA licensure as LCPC, LCSW, psychiatrist, psychologist, or psychiatric social worker.
• Experience with disadvantaged youth is required; Job Corps experience preferred.
• Must pass a drug screen and nationwide criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor the Mental Health Program per Job Corps regulations.
• Provide on-call mental health services for emergencies, by phone or in person.
• Supervise mental health interns and staff; oversee center's mental health program.
