Job summary

ActivStars Athletics in Council Bluffs, Iowa seeks a passionate Part-Time Martial Arts Instructor to teach kids in evening classes. The role offers competitive pay based on enrollment and a flexible schedule, typically one to two evenings a week. Instructors will implement ActivStars' curriculum while focusing on developing strong fundamentals and life skills in students. Ideal candidates hold a Black Belt and enjoy working with children. Qualifications

• Applicants must hold a Black Belt in a traditional forms-based martial art.
• Must be familiar with kata or forms based on traditional style.
• Applicants should have training in Karate, Taekwondo, Kenpo, Kung Fu, or a similar system.
• Candidates should enjoy working with children and families.

Responsibilities

• Teach martial arts classes for beginner through advanced youth students.
• Create a fun, positive, and structured learning environment.
• Manage student attendance and class check-in.
