Job summary

The YMCA of the Jersey Shore in Old Bridge, NJ is seeking a part-time Football Program Instructor to deliver the sport curriculum, promote skill development, and encourage good sportsmanship.

Responsibilities include leading groups, maintaining rosters, ensuring safety, following emergency procedures, and processing payroll weekly via Paycom Mobile on your personal device. Candidates should have football experience and be at least 17 years old; First Aid/CPR within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 17; 18+ preferred
• High school diploma or GED
• Experience playing or coaching football
• Ability to communicate with youth and adults
• First Aid/CPR/AED within 90 days of hire

Responsibilities

• Be punctual and follow branch/department dress code
• Uphold YMCA core values and commit to professional development
• Lead participants through curriculum; manage roster and attendance
• Monitor activity; ensure fair participation and safety
• Interact with participants and parents in a family-friendly manner
• Maintain safety; follow emergency procedures
• Inspect area/equipment; file accident reports
• Provide exceptional service to customers
• Adhere to youth boundaries; complete abuse risk training and reporting
• Represent the YMCA professionally; attend meetings and trainings
• Process payroll weekly via Paycom Mobile on your personal device
• Perform other duties as assigned
