Qualifications

• Current Boys & Girls Club Member
• Commitment to working four days a week
• Commitment to make class schedule for upcoming semester meet scheduling needs
• Commitment to work at the Club during the summer
• Must be able to work within the school year operating hours
• Must be able to work within the summer operating hours
• Must understand and demonstrate principles of behavior management and youth treatment modalities as taught by the Club

Responsibilities

• Implement the 5 Key Elements for Positive Youth Development in daily interactions with youth
• Supervise youth and the assigned program areas
• Uphold the Club values of excellence, impact driven, teamwork, and good character
• Ensure activities follow Club policies and procedures
• Maintain youth safety and security in the facility
• Attend monthly all-staff meetings and biweekly one-on-one and team meetings
• Collaborate with supervisor to create trimester performance goals and complete them by each trimester
• Provide daily feedback to supervisor on the day’s progress and program improvements
• Perform other duties as assigned
