Job summary

Capitol Imaging Services (Outpatient Imaging) is seeking a part-time X-Ray Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging exams, ensure high-quality images, and prioritize patient safety and comfort.

The role requires ARRT certification and an Associate or Bachelor’s in Radiologic Technology; state licensure if applicable. Minimum 1 year in diagnostic radiology preferred; PACS/RIS knowledge is a plus; strong communication and teamwork essential.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelors in Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT certification required; state licensure if applicable.
• BLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate X-ray equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
• Prepare and position patients accurately for imaging procedures.
• Ensure radiation protection measures for patients and staff.
• Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment per guidelines.
• Evaluate images for clarity and diagnostic quality.
• Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other staff.
• Follow infection control and HIPAA regulations.
