Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer X Ray Screening Monitor in West Palm Beach, FL. You will screen packages, monitor access points, and patrol the site while delivering professional customer service and clear communication.

You will carry out routine screening procedures, verify identifications, and report suspicious activity. This role requires a guard card, 21+ age, and a high school diploma, with opportunities for growth and involvement in a dynamic team.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is required.
• Be at least 21+ years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, and employees by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen personnel, visitors, and permitted items entering designated areas in accordance with established procedures, reporting prohibited or suspicious items and activities.
• Verify identification, access authorization, and delivery-related documentation for individuals entering controlled areas.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of screening areas, entry points, loading zones, and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and report irregular conditions.
