Job summary

Pima Community College invites applications for an adjunct faculty pool in Writing to support the 2025-26 academic year and beyond. Instructors may be assigned to specific courses or placed in a pool for future assignments across modalities including in-person, online, hybrid, or virtual formats.

Candidates must hold a Master’s degree (or higher) in the discipline or related field, or a Master’s with 18 graduate hours in the field.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in the discipline or related field
• OR Master’s with 18 graduate hours in the field
• Experience teaching college-level Writing courses preferred

Responsibilities

• Instruct students in Writing and support achievement of learning outcomes
• Follow protocols for presence, responsiveness, grading, attendance, and assessment
• Use effective classroom management and adapt delivery to modalities
• Maintain competency and currency in teaching and participate in collegial college activities
