Job summary

Progress West Hospital, part of BJC HealthCare, is seeking a registered nurse for a part-time, 24-hour-per-week role. Mondays are required, with other days potentially flexible based on patient needs. Wound care experience is preferred, and EPIC experience is advantageous.

Qualifications

• RN license or permit required.
• Experience in wound care preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification required or to be obtained.
• Ability to lift, bend, squat and walk frequently.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care including assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Educates patients and families on illness, injury, post-treatment care and medications.
• Ensures patient safety and regulatory compliance; participates in professional development.
• Develops and documents care plans with the interprofessional team and patient/family.
• Communicates plan of care across the continuum of care.
