Job summary

CrossPointe Church is seeking a Part-Time Worship Leader to guide the congregation in worship and assist in creating theologically grounded Sunday services. You will coordinate the worship team, plan weekly sets, and oversee media and tech elements for the 10:30 a.m.

service, while collaborating with the Lead Pastor and staff. The role averages 12–15 hours per week and emphasizes serving within a collaborative ministry environment rather than a full-time ministry position.

Qualifications

• Genuine relationship with Jesus Christ and desire to serve the local church.
• Commitment to Scripture and historic Christian faith.
• Experience leading congregational worship in a local church setting.
• Capable vocalist and musician who can lead a congregation confidently.
• Understand worship leading is about guiding worship, not performing.
• Appreciation for integrating music, Scripture, prayer, preaching, communion and worship elements.

Responsibilities

• Plan weekly worship services with the Lead Pastor and staff.
• Coordinate worship team and volunteers; recruit and schedule musicians.
• Prepare weekly service materials and technology; manage ProPresenter presentations.
• Lead Sunday worship and ensure cohesive transitions between service elements.
• Collaborate with AV/production, welcome, and other service teams.
