Qualifications

• Be called by God to devote time to ministry.
• Be personally dedicated to Jesus Christ as Lord, baptized by immersion.
• Exhibit vocal skills and ability to direct vocalists, instrumentalists, and the congregation.

Responsibilities

• Direct the planning, organizing, conducting, and evaluating of a comprehensive music program for groups, soloists, and choirs.
• Stay informed about Christian development needs through personal study.
• Publicize and promote the music programs within the church and community.
• Prepare and administer the music budget under supervision of Senior Pastor and stewardship committee.
• Select music for regular and special worship services, including funerals (if applicable).
• Oversee all aspects of the audio-visual ministry for worship services and events.
• Direct congregational singing at all regularly scheduled worship services.
• Plan and arrange an Order of Service for worship services.
• Work under the direct supervision of the Senior Pastor.
• Cooperate with staff and church leaders to meet total church needs.
