Job summary

Silver Creek Church in the United States is seeking an Assistant Worship Director to support the Worship Ministry by planning and leading Sunday worship experiences. This role serves as both a platform leader and ministry leader, assisting with volunteer development, scheduling, service planning, and worship administration.

• Proficient on acoustic guitar and/or keyboard.
• Familiarity with Planning Center Services and Multitracks Playback.
• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Self-motivated, independent, teachable, and dependable.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, encourage, and care for worship ministry volunteers.
• Help cultivate a culture of spiritual growth, excellence, and teamwork.
• Assist with onboarding and training new musicians and vocalists.
• Collaborate with the Creative & Worship Director to plan engaging worship experiences.
• Help evaluate worship services and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Contribute ideas for worship nights, special services, and seasonal events.
• Lead worship on assigned Sundays and special services.
• Prepare and maintain Planning Center Services plans.
• Build and maintain Multitracks Playback sessions.
• Schedule worship volunteers and communicate weekly service details as needed.
• Lead rehearsals & services as assigned.
• Maintain worship charts, arrangements, and song library organization.
• Serve as the primary worship leader when the Creative & Worship Director is unavailable.
