Job summary

Almaden Neighborhood Church seeks a Christ-centered Part-Time Director of Worship to lead and develop a multi-team worship ministry. You will coordinate, disciple, and invest in worship leaders, musicians, and audio/visual volunteers to guide the congregation in heartfelt, God-glorifying worship.

You will lead weekly worship and collaborate with the Lead Pastor to ensure services reflect Scripture and the sermon theme, while building a culture of excellence and servanthood within the team.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership in worship ministry or church setting.
• Strong communication and relational skills; able to handle conflicts biblically.
• Experience leading volunteer teams in church or ministry contexts.
• Ability to work well in cross-cultural settings.
• Strong musical and worship-leading ability (vocals/instrument); reading/transpose music preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead Sunday morning worship regularly with scripture and prayer as led by the Spirit.
• Collaborate with church leaders to plan weekly worship reflecting sermon theme.
• Curate song selections aligned with ANC theology and culture.
• Recruit, train, and schedule worship teams; oversee audio/visual teams and volunteers.
• Oversee and schedule regular rehearsals and trainings; attend staff and ministry meetings.
• Provide spiritual encouragement and discipleship to team members; nurture humility and servanthood.
• Oversee technical aspects of worship services including sound, slides, livestream, and related elements; stay current with systems.
