Job summary

Metropolitan State University of Denver (MSU Denver) invites applications for future part-time affiliate faculty teaching positions in the Department of World Languages. Appointments are contingent on program needs and enrollments.

Affiliate faculty teach courses in person or online, develop materials, and provide feedback consistent with university policies. Positions are per credit hour and do not include benefits; candidates should be prepared for on-campus teaching when hired.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in the target language with concentration in one or more areas (Language Acquisition, Linguistics, Literature, Cultural Studies, Translation).
• Doctorate in the target language (preferred).
• Teaching experience in the target language (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned classes in person or online by delivering course content to students.
• Prepare course materials and lesson plans, grade work, provide timely feedback.
• Conform to syllabus, department policies, and coordination guidelines; adapt to new modes of instruction.
