Metropolitan State University of Denver is seeking affiliate faculty to teach social work courses on a part-time, non-tenure track basis. Instructors work with a Lead Faculty and teach one to two courses per semester, with a maximum of three.

Teaching can be in-person or online, frequently under a per-credit-hour schedule and university guidelines. Qualifications include an MSW from a CSWE-accredited program and two years of related post-MS W experience; preferred are online teaching experience

Qualifications

• Master’s in social work from a CSWE Accredited Program.
• Minimum of two years of relevant post-MS W experience.
• Experience teaching social work theory, practice, and/or research preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned classes in person or online and deliver course content to students.
• Prepare materials and lesson plans, grade student work, and provide timely feedback.
