Job Description

Institution: Wentworth Institute of Technology – Boston, MA
Position Type: Part-Time, Seasonal (3-month appointment)
Compensation: Stipend-based

Position Summary:
Wentworth Institute of Technology is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable individual to serve as the Goalkeeping Coach for our NCAA Division III Women’s Soccer Program. This is a part-time position designed for someone who is eager to support goalkeeper development within a competitive and values-driven team environment.

Start Date: August 15, 2025
Practice/Game Schedule: Evening practices; midweek and weekend games

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute specialized goalkeeper training sessions in alignment with team goals

  • Analyze goalkeeper performance through video and provide individual feedback

  • Collaborate with coaching staff on team strategy, set pieces, and defensive organization

  • Support the overall well-being, development, and academic focus of goalkeeper student-athletes

  • Promote the program and institution positively through professional conduct

  • Adhere to all NCAA, conference, and institutional rules and policies

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Collegiate or high-level club playing and/or coaching experience as a goalkeeper

  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills

  • Ability to work evenings and weekends

  • Valid driver’s license

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Goalkeeping coaching certification or licensure

  • Experience coaching within a college, academy, or elite youth environment

  • Familiarity with video analysis platforms and performance technology

  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive, student-centered athletic culture
