JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Penn State Berks invites applications for the opening of part-time Assistant Women's Basketball Coach. Penn State Berks is an NCAA Division III institution and a member of the United East Conference. Job Duties
  • The Assistant Women's Basketball Coach will be responsible for assisting the Head Women's Basketball Coach with aspects of the women's basketball program, which may include recruiting and coaching during practice and competition, and will report to the Director of Athletics through the Head Women's Basketball Coach.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • A bachelor's degree, previous playing and/or coaching experience, and availability for practice and competition are required.

Interested individuals should submit a letter of application, and resume. Candidates should be prepared to provide the names, titles, and contact information (telephone, email, and mailing address) of three (3) professional references, if requested.

BACKGROUND CHECKS/CLEARANCES

This position requires the following clearances in addition to applicable background checks: PA State Police Criminal Background Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form, and Federal (FBI) Fingerprint Criminal Background Check. This position requires that you operate a motor vehicle as a part of your job duties. A valid driver's license and successful completion of a motor vehicle records check will be required in addition to standard background checks.
