Job summary

Responsibilities

• Disassemble window and door units in preparation for production.
• Lift and stage multiple units on production carts.
• Label each piece of the unit with identification numbers and colors.
• Push carts to the appropriate production cell.
• Clean and mask window and door frames and other parts before painting.
• Inspect surfaces and identify silicone presence.
• Remove silicone using appropriate tools.
• Use an air hose to remove particles from units.
• Report defects to the Supervisor.
• Remove masking paper and tape after quality approval.
• Clean paint and glue from glass and insert bulb seals as needed.
• Stage completed units on carts for shipping.
• Apply banding and strapping as required.
• Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean workspace.
