Job summary
District Health Department #10 is seeking a part-time Nutrition Specialist to join the Women, Infants and Children (WIC) team based in the Wexford County Office. The role focuses on nutrition screening, education, breastfeeding support, and referrals for clients and families.

Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nutrition or RN license in Michigan.
- Experience with nutrition assessment, breastfeeding support, and referrals.
- Proficient with EHRs and Microsoft 365 applications.
Responsibilities
- Complete nutrition screening and assessment for women, infants and children.
- Provide nutrition education, breastfeeding support and referrals.
- Document all client information in the State WIC and agency EHR.
- Use motivational interviewing to support CCS education.
- Record measurements and lab data for nutrition risk assessment.
