Job summary

Oakmont Management Group in Concord, CA seeks a licensed Wellness Nurse (RN) for a part-time position at Oakmont of Concord. The nurse coordinates resident care, medication management, and liaison with physicians to maintain resident independence. Training provided; prior RCFE experience is a plus.

Shifts include mornings with weekly coverage on a rotating basis. The role requires CA RN license, ability to handle medications, and strong communication with care teams.

Qualifications

• Must be a Licensed Vocational or Registered Nurse holding a valid California nursing license in good standing.
• Prefer one (1) year of experience working in a Residential Care Facility for the Elderly (RCFE).
• Able to operate a personal computer and MS Office (Word, Excel).
• Able to obtain and maintain CPR/First Aid certification.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate resident care and medication management under medical direction.
• Provide coverage seven days a week when Health Services Director is off.
• Communicate with physicians, nurses, and state agencies on resident care needs.
• Administer medications and perform treatments as ordered by a physician.
• Support Medication Technicians in delivering medications to residents.
• Document thoroughly in resident charts according to policy and regulations.
