Qualifications

• Willingness to work Saturdays and occasional weekdays.

• Ability to operate a shuttle bus in varying weather and traffic.
• Good driving record and knowledge of traffic laws.
• Ability to work with staff, faculty and students harmoniously.

Responsibilities

• Safely operates a minibus, van, or lightweight vehicle to transport Elmhurst University students, faculty, staff, and other passengers.
• Transports passengers between pick-up/drop-off locations, class sites, and local destinations.
• Operates radio to communicate with dispatch or other drivers to report service updates, delays, or disruptions.
• Maintains accurate records of trips and transportation documentation.
• Assists passengers with boarding and securing mobility devices as needed.
• Performs routine vehicle inspections and basic care (fuel, washing, etc.).
